Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026. Effective date: [CONFIRM: date approved for publication]. Company particulars and operational commitments must be confirmed before publication.

This policy explains how Visit-Nagaland.com handles personal information when you browse, use nearby search, contact us or provide business information.

1. Who is responsible

Lendlink Tech Private Limited owns and operates Visit-Nagaland.com. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the Company. This policy covers information handled for our website and platform activities. Independent hotels, homestays, restaurants, transport operators, guides and other providers are responsible for information you give directly to them.

Registered office: C-31, Medikhru Complex, Razhu Point, Main Town, Kohima, Nagaland – 797001
Privacy contact: [CONFIRM: monitored privacy email]
Grievance contact: [CONFIRM: designated officer, designation and contact details]

The contact page provides the complete company and complaint details. A general enquiry does not require a copy of your Aadhaar, passport, financial records or another person’s private information.

2. Information handled when you browse

Our hosting and website infrastructure can process technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the service. This may include IP address, request time, requested page, browser and device information, referring page, error messages and security events. These records can be created even if you do not open an account.

Search requests may include a business name or keyword, category, district, price range and price unit. These filters can appear in a shareable page address and ordinary server logs. Do not enter confidential personal information into a public directory search field.

Public browsing does not require you to submit a traveller profile. The information actually handled depends on the pages and features you use, your browser settings and the hosting services delivering those pages.

3. Accounts and messages

If you use an available account, we handle the account name, email address, sign-in information and profile details necessary to provide and administer it. WordPress handles account authentication and password-reset processes. We do not need your plain-text password in a support message.

When you email, telephone or otherwise contact us through a channel we publish, we handle the contact details, message contents, attachments and correspondence needed to respond. If you ask about a listing or payment, we may need the relevant business name, page link, order reference or transaction reference.

A message sent through an external email, telephone or messaging provider also passes through that provider’s systems. Please review its privacy terms. We do not automatically forward a private message to every business mentioned in it.

4. Business applications and public listings

A business submission can include the business name, category, district, public address or meeting point, business phone number, website, description, photographs, opening information, starting price and price unit. A representative’s private correspondence and proportionate evidence of authority may also be needed to administer the listing.

Information marked or agreed as public may be displayed on the business page, search results and related directory features. Public pages may be indexed by search engines, copied by visitors or shared outside our website. Before providing a personal mobile number or a home-based business address, make sure the relevant person has agreed to the intended public use.

Evidence supplied privately to help check a location or business claim is not automatically public listing content. Our nearby-search feed does not expose the private location-evidence URL stored for that check. Do not include unnecessary personal records in evidence attachments.

5. Precise location and nearby search

Our nearby-search component requests device location only after you select its location button and your browser permits access. You can decline and use a known search location instead. Refusal does not prevent ordinary directory browsing.

The component uses a selected point to calculate approximate straight-line distances from eligible business locations. Device coordinates are held in the browser’s working memory for that interaction. The component does not send those device coordinates in its inventory requests to our WordPress server, add them to a shareable search URL or write them into browser localStorage.

Your device or browser may use its own location-service provider to obtain a position. Those services operate under their own settings and privacy terms. Clearing the selected location in the tool removes its current reference point; closing the page also ends that in-memory session.

Public business coordinates are different from a visitor’s device location. Coordinates approved for a public business listing are included in the public nearby inventory so the browser can calculate distances. A home-based operator should discuss any address-safety concern with us before approving a public pin.

6. Directions and external services

Selecting a directions link opens an external Google Maps page or app using the business destination. Our directions link does not append your device coordinates as the origin. Google or your device may independently use your location under their own permissions when you use their service.

The website theme also requests fonts from Google Fonts. Loading externally hosted font resources involves a connection from your browser to Google’s infrastructure and can disclose technical request information, including your IP address. This is separate from asking for precise GPS location.

Links to a provider’s website, email address, telephone number or messaging service take you into that provider’s or service’s environment. We do not control its collection practices. Embeds, video players, analytics, advertising or payment tools introduced later must be assessed and disclosed before use.

7. Payments and commercial records

If you purchase a platform service, we may handle billing name, contact details, business information, invoice particulars, the service purchased, amount, payment status and transaction references. A payment provider may separately collect payment credentials and fraud-prevention information through its own payment interface.

This policy does not mean that an online payment feature is currently available. We will identify the actual payment provider and relevant privacy information when such a feature is offered. We do not request a card PIN, UPI PIN or one-time password by email or telephone.

A payment you make directly to a tourism provider is handled under that provider’s arrangements. Do not assume that the Company receives or stores those payment details simply because you found the business through our directory.

8. Why we use information

  • To deliver website pages, directory search and the features you request.
  • To create, secure and administer available accounts and listings.
  • To communicate about an enquiry, application, correction, service order or complaint.
  • To check business authority, assess disputed content and address fraud or misuse.
  • To keep necessary business, accounting and legal records.
  • To maintain website reliability, troubleshoot errors and protect users and systems.
  • To send optional promotional communications only under an appropriate, separately explained permission or other lawful basis.

We do not treat an enquiry as permission to add you to unrelated marketing lists. If a purpose requires consent, the notice and choice should identify that purpose. Where processing is required or permitted on another applicable legal basis, we will identify and respect the conditions for relying on it.

9. Who may receive information

Information may be accessible to authorised Company personnel and service providers supporting hosting, maintenance, email, security, backups and other specifically enabled services, to the extent needed for their work. Hostinger supplies the current hosting environment; the exact processing arrangements depend on the hosting services configured.

If you request an introduction to a provider, we should explain what details will be shared and with whom. We do not authorise directory businesses to obtain a general list of private visitor enquiries or use it for unrelated marketing. Public business information is, by design, visible to website users.

We may disclose information where required by a valid legal process or reasonably necessary to investigate unlawful activity, protect rights or respond to an incident, subject to applicable law. In a lawful company restructuring or transfer, relevant records may be transferred with appropriate safeguards and notice where required.

We do not sell private visitor contact lists or precise device-location histories. Any future advertising, analytics or commercial data arrangement must be assessed against this policy and applicable permissions before it begins.

10. Storage locations and international processing

The hosting account’s selected server region and individual service providers influence where information is stored or accessed. We do not claim that every item remains in India. Email, font delivery, support and other external services may involve processing in additional countries.

Before introducing a new processor or transfer arrangement, the Company should assess its purpose, access, safeguards and applicable restrictions. For information about the services relevant to a specific request, contact the privacy contact. Do not infer a particular storage country merely from the website’s domain.

11. Retention and deletion

We keep personal information for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable legal, accounting, dispute or security needs. Retention is reviewed by category rather than treating every record as permanent.

RecordRetention approach
Account informationWhile the account is needed, followed by deletion or anonymisation when closure and necessary obligations are completed.
Public business contentDuring the relevant listing or another valid publication basis; removal requests and expired paid services are assessed under the listing terms.
Private applications and evidenceOnly while needed to assess, administer or defend the application or related issue, with unnecessary identity material removed earlier.
Enquiries and complaintsUntil the matter is resolved and any necessary follow-up, limitation period or legal obligation has been addressed.
Invoices and transactionsFor the period required by applicable accounting, tax and related legal obligations.
Technical logs and backupsAccording to the configured security and backup cycles; held longer only where needed for an incident or legal requirement.
Device coordinates used by nearby searchIn the browser component’s working memory for the current interaction, rather than a server-side location-history database.

Deletion from the active website may not immediately remove copies from protected backups, search engines, third-party websites or recipients who already obtained public information. Backup copies should be isolated from normal use and expire through their applicable cycle unless legally preserved. We will explain a material retention exception when responding to a request.

12. Your choices and requests

You can ask us about the personal information we handle, request correction of inaccurate information, seek deletion where appropriate, withdraw a consent you previously gave or raise a grievance. Applicable statutory rights depend on the law in force and the circumstances; this policy does not represent that every future legal provision is already operative.

Use the privacy contact and describe the record or interaction concerned. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity or authority. We should not demand unrelated documents where a less intrusive verification method is sufficient.

Withdrawal does not undo processing already lawfully completed and may affect a feature that depends on the information. We may need to retain certain records under law or to resolve a dispute. We will explain the decision and the escalation options available rather than silently refusing a request.

13. Children and information about other people

Business accounts and paid contracts are intended for adults. Public destination content is not a request for children to supply personal information. Parents or guardians should contact us if a child has submitted information that should be removed.

Do not upload a child’s photograph, name, private address or travel arrangements without the necessary authority and safeguards. If a proposed feature intentionally processes children’s information, the Company must assess the applicable parental-consent and other legal requirements before enabling it.

14. Safeguards and incidents

Personal information should be accessed only for authorised purposes, with access limited to the people and providers who need it. The Company must maintain appropriate account controls, software maintenance, secure transport and incident procedures suitable for the service. This statement does not promise an independently certified security standard or an absolute guarantee against every incident.

If you suspect an account compromise or exposure, contact us with the relevant page or account reference and avoid reposting the exposed information publicly. Where an incident triggers a legal notification duty, we will follow the applicable requirements and communicate relevant protective steps.

15. Changes and complaints

We will update this policy when material practices, services or applicable requirements change. A revised webpage alone does not create consent for a new, incompatible purpose. Where additional notice or permission is needed, the relevant process must be used.

For an unresolved concern, use the grievance contact on our contact page. You may also use a competent statutory or regulatory remedy where applicable. See the Cookie Policy for browser-related choices and the Contact, Support and Complaints page for request instructions.
