Cancellation and Refund Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026. Effective date: [CONFIRM: date approved for publication]. Company particulars and operational commitments must be confirmed before publication.

This policy separates charges for our business listing services from payments made directly to tourism providers.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to platform services purchased from Lendlink Tech Private Limited through Visit-Nagaland.com or an expressly identified Company order. It does not make the Company the supplier of every hotel stay, taxi trip, meal, activity or tour found through the directory.

If you pay a provider directly, its cancellation terms and applicable law govern that purchase. Contact that provider first about the booking. You can also report misleading listing information to us so we can investigate the directory content. We cannot refund a sum we did not collect on behalf of a service we did not supply.

2. Before you purchase

Before payment, the order should identify the supplier, listing or service, total price, taxes, period, start date or activation basis, included work and applicable cancellation terms. Do not rely on an informal payment request that does not identify the Company and the service.

The proposed standard annual listing period starts on publication of the approved paid listing unless another start is expressly agreed. The plan is intended for manual renewal. Cancelling a future renewal does not, by itself, cancel a service period that has already begun.

3. Cancellation before publication

For the proposed standard annual listing, you may request cancellation before the listing first becomes public. The proposed remedy is a full refund of the unactivated annual listing fee. We will not retrospectively invent an application or processing fee.

If you separately commission custom work, such as a photography assignment or a bespoke campaign, its cancellation position must be explained in the separate order. A charge for work already authorised and performed must be identifiable and fairly assessed; it is not automatically deductible from an ordinary listing refund.

4. Rejected or unfulfilled applications

If we reject a paid standard listing application before publication, the proposed remedy is a full refund of its listing fee. Acceptance must not be represented as guaranteed merely because payment was received.

If an approved, complete application is not published within the delivery period stated in the order for reasons attributable to us, you may request a revised delivery date or cancellation and refund of the undelivered service. Where no delivery period was stated, we should agree a reasonable period with you rather than hold payment indefinitely.

If information is incomplete, we may ask you to supply it. We should explain what is missing and whether the service can proceed. We will not count an unpublished annual period as already delivered solely because an application remained incomplete.

5. Cancellation after activation

Once an agreed listing has been published and is available for its paid period, a change of mind, a decision to stop trading or a low number of enquiries does not automatically create a pro-rata refund entitlement. A listing fee purchases the stated publication service, not guaranteed traffic or bookings.

You may request that public contact details or the listing be removed for a legitimate privacy, safety or closure concern. We will assess the removal request without requiring you to leave inaccurate or unsafe information public. Whether a fee is refundable is a separate question and remains subject to the order, actual service delivery and applicable law.

6. Service failure and Company-initiated termination

If the Company materially fails to deliver a paid service, we will assess an appropriate correction, extension, replacement service or refund. An alternative remedy will not be imposed where you have a legal right to a refund.

If we end a paid annual listing for our own commercial convenience, without a breach by the business, the proposed remedy is a refund for the unused paid period, calculated from the remaining days of that period. If the service never became available, the undelivered listing fee should be refunded in full.

For suspension arising from alleged fraud, unlawful content or a serious breach, we will assess the facts and work actually delivered before determining the financial outcome. We do not rely on a blanket forfeiture clause to remove a statutory remedy.

7. Duplicate charges and unsuccessful payments

A confirmed duplicate payment for the same order should be refunded or, only with your agreement, applied to another identified service. If your bank shows a debit but there is no successful order, send the transaction reference and date so the payment status can be reconciled.

Do not immediately pay again unless the first transaction has been checked or you understand the risk of a duplicate debit. Failed payment reversals and bank settlement times are controlled partly by the relevant payment systems. We should distinguish an automatic bank reversal from a refund initiated by the Company.

8. How to request a refund

Contact the support or grievance address shown on our contact page. Include the business name, order or invoice reference, payment date, amount, transaction reference, reason for the request and the outcome you seek. Attach a receipt with unnecessary financial details obscured.

We will not ask you for a payment PIN, full card security code or one-time password to receive a refund. If ownership of the payment or account is disputed, we may request proportionate verification. A request need not use a particular legal phrase to be considered.

9. Decisions and processing

We will explain a refund decision and identify any amount that is not refunded and why. The proposed processing standard is to initiate an approved refund within seven working days after approval and receipt of the necessary payment details. Bank or payment-provider settlement may take additional time, which we will explain using the information available for that transaction.

Refunds should ordinarily return to the original payment method. Where that is not possible, an alternative must be verified and agreed. We do not require acceptance of store credit in place of a cash refund where a refund is legally due.

Statutory complaint or refund deadlines take priority over a longer internal target. If a decision is delayed by a genuine dispute, we should communicate the reason and next step rather than leave the request unanswered.

10. Taxes, charges and exceptional events

Taxes and related credit notes will be handled according to the applicable invoice and tax requirements. Payment-processing deductions are not automatically non-refundable; any proposed deduction must have a lawful, previously disclosed basis.

A provider’s cancellation because of weather, a road closure or another travel event is handled under that provider’s terms and applicable law. If an exceptional event prevents the Company from supplying its own paid platform service, we will assess the undelivered service and available remedies fairly. “Force majeure” is not a blanket reason to retain payment for a service that cannot be provided.

11. Escalation and rights

If you disagree with a decision, reply with the reference and the information you believe was overlooked. The grievance contact can review the issue. This process does not prevent a lawful bank dispute, consumer complaint or other statutory remedy. Please avoid knowingly pursuing duplicate recovery through multiple routes for the same amount.

This policy must be read with the particular order and our Business Listing Terms. It does not waive non-excludable rights. Contact details and complaint instructions are on Contact, Support and Complaints.
