We want people to be able to find tourism information and contact businesses using different devices and ways of navigating the web.
Our commitment
Visit-Nagaland.com is operated by Lendlink Tech Private Limited. Accessibility is part of making a useful website, and we welcome reports of barriers. This statement describes our approach and intended improvements; it is not a claim that the whole site has passed an independent accessibility certification.
How the website should support access
Our design aims to use understandable headings, readable text, meaningful link labels, form labels, visible keyboard focus and layouts that adapt to small screens. Search should not depend only on recognising an icon or colour. Images that convey information should have useful alternative text; decorative images should not create unnecessary reading noise.
The business directory provides a normal form and server-rendered results, with JavaScript used to enhance the interaction. The nearby tool requires JavaScript for distance calculations, but device-location permission is optional and a known-location choice is available. A visitor should not need to enable precise location simply to browse business information.
Known limits and third-party services
Some functionality depends on your browser, device or an external service. Directions open an external mapping page or app whose accessibility we do not control. Business websites, uploaded documents, older articles and third-party media may have limitations that need correction or an alternative format.
We do not treat a desktop-only check as evidence that a form works for a mobile screen reader or keyboard user. Accessibility reports should be investigated against the actual page and interaction concerned. Where a barrier cannot be removed immediately, we will consider a practical alternative for obtaining the information.
Requesting help or reporting a barrier
Use the support details on our contact page. Include the page address, what you were trying to do, the problem encountered and, if you are comfortable providing it, the device, browser or assistive technology involved. You do not need to disclose a medical diagnosis.
If you need information in another accessible format, describe the information and the format that would help. We will assess what can reasonably be provided and explain any limitation. For a problem on a provider’s own website or premises, we may direct you to that provider while also reviewing the accuracy of our listing.
Business accessibility information
Businesses should describe specific facilities rather than using an unsupported “fully accessible” label. Relevant details can include steps at the entrance, path surfaces, doorway widths, bathroom arrangements, parking, transport access and available assistance. Visitors should confirm the features that matter to them directly before paying.
A directory category, photograph or location check does not establish that a property or activity suits every access requirement. We welcome evidence-based corrections to accessibility descriptions.
Ongoing review
New templates and important form changes should be checked for accessibility during development. Reports from users, changes in content and the capabilities of external services will inform further work. We will update this statement when the material position changes.
